Amazingly Delicious

To put it mildly, I have a new love and it is definitely the wonderful notes found in the Blind Pig.

Love their Blind Pig coffee. Wish they had a coffee subscription plan that included free shipping. Their $50 minimum for free shipping would be a lot of coffee.

Delicious coffee

Best coffee ever........

I first tried Dave's Coffee at the Ocean House. I called the hotel to see what blend they serve, and they weren't completely sure. So I reached out to Dave directly and he and his amazing team made sure that I got what Ocean House serves. It's the most heavenly coffee, and I look forward to getting out of bed in the morning and getting that coffee into my French press pot.

Blind Pig was the first coffee I ever bought of Dave's - it was at The Breakers in Newport and it looked heavenly, so I figured I'd give it a try. Well, it tasted better than it looked and I haven't stopped loving - and buying - it since. Along with other of Dave's varieties, of course!

Both are Superb blend, exceptional flavour profiles. I chanced upon this coffee shop in Charlestown on my way to Providence this summer. Ordered a latte and was amazed by the taste. Struck a conversation with a lovely old couple at the coffee shop. They were regulars and the old guy swore by their Blind pig beans while the sweet lady loved the Quonnie beans.. I laughed and got both bags..Since then, I have just kept reordering the same. Highly Recommend both.

Description

Coffee Story:

Blind Pig originated as our house espresso blend and quickly turned into one of our favorite coffees as a drip as well. This blend is smooth, balanced, and sweet and results in a solid crema when pulled as shots for espresso.

The name stems from the days when we were "home roasting" and sneaking some of this coffee in through the back door of our espresso bar for customers to sample.

Medium dark roast, with cacao and black cherry, a velvety body and a clean finish. Smooth enough to drink black all morning, which is what most people who buy it end up doing.

Origin: Brazil & Ethiopia
Varietal: Mundo Novo, Catuaí, Bourbon, Heirloom Arabica
Growing Altitude: 900 - 1,800 meters
Process: Natural, sun-dried on raised beds

Small bits of stone or concrete may be found in patio dried coffee. Check carefully to avoid damage to grinders.
